Emergency Medical and Air Evacuation Insurance
Within Vietnam, Indochina Travel provides for emergency air evacuation insurance coverage for every trip, at no additional charge, through the Global Traveler Program by SOS International. SOS operates medical clinics in Bangkok, Hanoi and Saigon. SOS International also provides air evacutaion to Singapore if deemed necessary. This insurance is cumpulsory provided at no extra charge. Please note: the SOS Global Traveler Program does not cover air evacaution to any location but Singapore nor subsequent medical expenses after evacaution. Please supplement this insurance with your own coverage. Indochina Travel is not affilated with SOS International and does not warrant any claim or responsibilty for their services. Travelers are ultimately responsible for contacting with SOS and arranging for services required.

Insurance
In the age of SARS, terrorism alerts, and airline bankruptcies, we require that you are covered by trip cancellation/interruption insurance to protect your significant tour and airline expenses. This coverage will offset cancellation charges in the event of an illness before or during the trip if you need to cancel. You may already have coverage without knowing it. For example, Mastercard Platinum card holders may be automatically covered for trip cancellation and lost luggage and qualify for some emergency travel assistance services. Trip cancellation/interruption, supplemental medical, and baggage insurance is also available at a supplemental, discounted cost through our provider, CSA Travel Protection, one of the five largest providers in the US. Trip Cancellation and Supplemental Medical Evacuation Insurance
For the differing packages of insurance (Freestyle and Freestyle Luxe), the primary differences are that Freestyle Luxe provide higher levels of coverage, coverage for a pre-existing medical condition, and operator bankruptcy or insolvency for about 25-50% more than standard Freestyle plan. Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion
Pre-Existing Condition means an illness, disease, or other condition during the 180-day period immediately prior to the effective date, for which you, your traveling companion or family member is scheduled or booked to travel with them:

Has received, or has received a recommendation, for a diagnostic test, examination, or medical treatment; or
Took or received a prescription for drugs or medicine.

Item 2 of this definition does not apply to a condition which is treated or controlled solely through the taking of prescription drugs or medicine and remains treated or controlled without any adjustment or change in the required prescription throughout the 180-day period before coverage is effective.

CSA WebDirect® Extended Plan Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver
For an additional fee, you can purchase a waiver of pre-existing condition exclusion if:

- Your premium for this insurance plan is received within fourteen (14) days of the date of your initial trip deposit.
- You are not disabled from travel at the time you pay your premium;
- The booking for the trip must be the first and only booking for this travel period and destination.
